While working with Chaotic Good Studios, I was a part of the team managing the social channels for AVATAR in the lead up to and through the theatrical release of AVATAR: THE WAY OF WATER. During that time time, we worked with our clients at Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney to build social strategy and content, perform community management, and create social campaigns to promote the launch of the film and related projects including comic books for Dark Horse Comics, books for D.K. Publishing, Collectible figures from McFarlane Toys, cosmetics from NYX, and other tie-in products.
Additionally, we oversaw the creation and launch of the AVATAR GIPHY channel and worked with partners at Disney to create GIFs for the channel which generated over 99 million views in its first year and we worked with partners at Lego to create a series of Lego AVATAR GIFs and social posts to promote the AVATAR Lego toy line.
